Jacob Schubert
About
Jacob Schubert is an attorney with a diverse background in public service, litigation, and client advocacy. He spent a decade living and working in Washington, DC, where he graduated from American University Washington College of Law in 2014, followed by a Master’s in International Relations the following year. During this time, he gained experience across congressional offices, nonprofit organizations, and advocacy groups, developing a strong foundation in policy, client advocacy, and public interest work.
His career has also included international legal experience at the Special Tribunal for Lebanon in The Hague, Netherlands, where he contributed to complex legal proceedings in a global context. These experiences, along with additional work involving diverse populations, have given him valuable insight into navigating sensitive disputes and high-conflict situations—skills directly applicable to family law matters.
After relocating to Providence, Rhode Island, Jacob worked with the Public Defender’s Office, where he represented indigent clients in court, gaining significant courtroom experience and strengthening his ability to advocate effectively for individuals facing difficult personal circumstances.
Jacob now focuses his practice on family law, where he combines his litigation experience with a practical, client-centered approach. He is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through complex and emotionally charged legal matters with clarity, compassion, and strategic advocacy.
